Alexis.jpg
Alexis330 viewsMy birthday is 08/05/01.
I was very shy at Cozy Cat. I had occasional bouts of asthma and had to have shots and use an inhaler. The asthma didn't stop me from finding my perfect home. One of our volunteers fell in love with me and took me home. It took about two years for him to decide, but I love my new home.
Angela.jpg
Angela272 viewsEveryone on the staff knew Angela was special. Angela was always passed over because of her plus size, one couple saw beyond that and into her plus-size heart. They couldn't replace their cat that had passed away but they found an angel to help fill the empty spot in their loving home.
Athena.jpg
Athena232 viewsAthena was rescued from a trailer containing 153 cats who were only fed oatmeal and liver. When she had some bad teeth removed a heart murmur was discovered, possibly caused by the infected teeth. Her wonderful new family fell in love with her and agreed to take her home anyway, and to make her happy for as long as she lives.
Aurora.jpg
Aurora311 viewsAurora was an overly protective mother who bit everybody who touched her babies, even her her foster mother, who feared that "Catzilla" would never be adoptable. Amazingly, she mellowed after her kittens were weaned . The foster mom decided to adopt her to spare her more trauma and now she loves to be petted and cuddled.
Baxter.JPG
Baxter275 viewsHe was a small kitten when he was brought to Cozy Cat with one eye poked out and a string around one leg that had nearly severed it. Baxter was adopted by a volunteer who has a 10 yr. old cat named Sandra for him to play with. He is now cuddly and sweet and loves to watch birds through the window.
Benson.jpg
Benson337 viewsThis precious fellow came to Cozy Cat with one leg that was numb and useless. He dragged it and tripped on it so he had trouble walking and was sure to injure it further risking infection. The decision was made to amputate it. Now he walks well on his three remaining legs and has a wonderful, loving family and a new kitty friend who also has three legs.
Bleachers.jpg
Bleachers414 viewsBleachers was found as a tiny kitten cowering under the Olentangy High School bleachers. She was terrified when everyone started chasing her. She lost an eye due to a blow to the head while she was running. It has taken her many months to trust people. She now have a forever home with one of our volunteers.
Blondie.jpg
Blondie249 viewsThis pretty girl had been pampered in her foster home. When she and her kittens came back to the shelter she was depressed and wouldn't eat. Then the kind people from The Pink Flamingo in Powell adopted her as a shop cat. She is again pampered and totally happy in her new wonderful new home.
Boogie.jpg
Boogie207 viewsBoogie, the beloved mascot of the former Parker Hanifin factory, showed up there one day with a gun shot wound and other life-threatening injuries. Then Cozy Cat Cottage took him under their umbrella. One leg had to be amputated but he healed beautifully. Now the perfect family has taken him into their home and their hearts.
